Introduction to Skin Suture Device

The main component of a disposable skin stapler is a disposable skin stapler (referred to as a stapler), which consists of a nail compartment, a shell, and a handle. The suture nails in the nail compartment are made of stainless steel (022Cr17Ni12Mo2) material; The other metal parts are made of stainless steel, while the non-metallic parts, shell, and handle of the nail compartment are made of ABS resin material; The nail remover is a disposable nail remover (referred to as a nail remover), mainly composed of a U-shaped jaw, a cutter, and an upper and lower handle. The U-shaped jaw and cutter are made of stainless steel (022Cr17Ni12Mo2), and the upper and lower handles are made of ABS resin material.

Advantages of skin sutures

1. Scars are small, and the wound is neat and beautiful.

2. Special material suture needle, suitable for tension wounds.

3. High tissue compatibility, no head reaction.

4. There is no adhesion with the blood scab, and there is no pain during dressing change and nail removal.

5. Lightweight to use and quick to sew.

6. Shorten surgical and anesthesia time, and improve operating room turnover.

Usage of skin stapler

1. Remove the stapler from the middle packaging and check if the inner packaging is damaged or wrinkled, and if the sterilization date has expired.

2. After properly suturing the subcutaneous tissue of each layer of the incision, use tissue forceps to flip the skin on both sides of the wound upwards and pull it together to fit.

3. Place the stapler gently on the flipped skin patch, aligning the arrow on the stapler with the patch. Do not press the stapler onto the wound to avoid difficulty in removing the nail in the future.

4. Grasp the upper and lower handles of the stapler tightly until the stapler is in place, release the handle, and exit the stapler facing backwards.

5. Insert the lower jaw of the nail remover under the suture nail, so that the suture nail slides into the groove of the lower jaw.

6. Grasp the handle of the nail remover tightly until the upper and lower handles come into contact.

7. Confirm that the handle of the nail remover is in place and that the stitching nails have completed deformation. Only after removing them can the nail remover be moved.

Precautions for skin sutures

1. Please refer to the operation diagram in detail before use.

2. Check the packaging before use. Do not use if the packaging is damaged or exceeds its expiration date.

When opening sterile packaging, attention should be paid to aseptic operation to avoid contamination.

4. For areas with thicker subcutaneous tissue, subcutaneous sutures should be performed first, while for areas with thinner subcutaneous tissue, needle sutures can be directly performed.

5. For areas with high skin tension, the needle spacing should be well controlled, usually 0.5-1cm per needle.

6. Remove the needle 7 days after surgery. For special wounds, the doctor may delay the removal of the needle depending on the situation.
